ISLAMABAD -- President Dr. Arif Alvi has asked the management of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) to take steps for providing quality education to the people. He said that quality of education played crucial role in the socio-economic progress of the country, besides reducing poverty.
He stated this during a presentation, given by the Vice Chancellor AIOU, Prof Dr. Zia-ul-Qayyum, at Awan-e-Sadr, on Thursday.
