Prepared for both open and secret ballot, says Bilawal.

ISLAMABAD -- The top leadership of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has claimed that opposition will give surprise to government in upcoming elections.

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari said that the opposition's 10-party alliance, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), is prepared for both open and secret balloting in the upcoming Senate polls, amid the government's push to introduce legislation for a show of hands during voting. Bilawal maintained that MPs of the opposition were with PDM and they will win the Senate elections at any cost and will send the government back to home.

Talking to media in a joint press conference with PDM Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the Chairman Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto on Sunday claimed that the opposition had given tough time to the PTI government in the recent by-elections

Bilawal Bhutto further said that the joint strategy and collective efforts of the opposition parties defeated the government in the by-elections; adding that the results of the recent by elections in the country was an alert for the incumbent government which proved that masses were with the opposition.

Bilawal claimed that people had rejected PTI-led government. Speaking to journalists here, the PPP leader said the people voted against the government in the bye-elections.

Bilawal said the PDM had challenged the government on every front. 'We defeated the government in all four provinces in Pakistan in the recently held by-elections. Government rigged elections in Kurram agency and Daska by-elections. Daska election results have been declared null and void. Pakistani people have rejected this selected government,' he added.
