Prayer leader gets bail.

LOWER DIR -- A local court on Wednesday granted pre-arrest bail to a prayer leader, who was booked by the police under sections 295-A/506 of PPC for allegedly instigating people against senior citizens.

Additional Sessions Judge, Lower Dir, Nusrat Naz granted bail to Mufti Mohsin Mehmood of Dherai Talash, and directed him to furnish two surety bonds of Rs100,000 each till June 29.

The Timergara police had booked the prayer leader under sections 295-A/506 after a video clip went viral on social media, in which he allegedly instigated the public against the senior citizens during a Friday sermon. He had allegedly commented that a majority of the senior citizens...
