PPP workers vow to fulfil Benazir`s mission.

PESHAWAR -- The leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party have demanded of the government to arrest the people involved in sugar and wheat scandals.

Addressing a ceremony held at Peshawar Press Club on Sunday to celebrate 67th birth anniversary of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, they pledged to fulfil the mission of their killed leader.

PPP office-bearers including Zulfiqar Afghani, Tariq Raheem, Haji Umer Khitab, Saqib Iqbal, Hayat Khan and workers of city district party participated in the cake cutting ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, Zulfiqar Afghani said that workers and leaders of PPP would continue their efforts to take forward the philosophy, vision and mission of Benazir Bhutto and her father Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. He said that the Bhutto family and PPP workers sacrificed their lives to enable the poor people to raise voice for their rights.

He also recalled the services of BenazirBhutto for welfare of the people and urged the party worl(ers to fulfil her mission.
