PPP to Hold Rally in Lahore on June 21.

LAHORE -- Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has announced its plan to hold a public rally in Lahore on June 21, as reported by the media.

The rally is scheduled to take place on the birth anniversary of the PPP's late former Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto, in Punjab's provincial capital.

Former President Asif Ali Zardari has instructed PPP Lahore President Aslam Gul to finalize the preparations for the public gathering in Lahore.

It is worth mentioning that several former members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from South Punjab, who recently parted ways with the party, have joined the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) in the past few days.
