PPP held responsible for situation.

LARKANA -- Jeay Sindh Mahaz-Riaz chairman Riaz Chandio has held 'Zardari mafia' responsible for creating a situation where people of resource-rich Sindh are made to barely subsist under back-breaking burden of inflation.

He blamed Sindh's ruling clique for shortage of flour and said low yield of wheat was just a lame excuse to exonerate Pakistan Peoples Party government of its responsibilities.

Chandio said at a meeting held here on Monday to chalk out his party's programme for observing the119th birth anniversary of G.M. Syed in Sann said that youth should raise a strong voice against usurpers and oppressors who had imposed artificial inflation upon Sindh forcing people to race after subsidised flour.

Prior to this, he said, a manmade flood was thrust upon Sindh which rendered thousands of people homeless, left agriculture sector in a shambles and destroyed infrastructure. Instead of carrying out real development and graduating people out of poverty, the PPP had made beggars of poor people through Benazir Income Support Programme and made them forget ownership of their land.
