PPP demands summoning of Senate session.

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan People's Party senior leader Senator Sherry Rehman demanding summoning of session of upper house has said that the government is violating the constitution by not calling the session.

In her statement Sherry Rehman said that the government didn't call the session since 108 days as per the article 61 of the constitution senate session should be run for at least 110 days.

The senate session was not called despite the country facing many crisis adding that the government has passed at least 24 bills by-passing the senate, she added.
