PPP demands bye-elections instead of resigning from Sindh.

KARACHI -- Pakistan Peoples Party has written a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner asking to hold by-election in three provincial assembly seats in Sindh.

On other hand PPP lawmakers have started sending their resignations to party chairman while PPP leadership is insisting Election Commission to hold bye-election on provincial assembly seats in Sindh.

Despite preventing not to talk about any decision regarding resignations in the media PPP's lawmakers' resignation are being circulated on social media.

Surprisingly, resignations are being addressed to party chairman instead of assembly speaker while reading PPP MNA's resignation addressing his resignation to party chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari instead of Speaker Asad Qaiser.

According to sources Chief Minister Sindh has also been directed to resign and twelve lawmakers from Sindh assembly have sent their resignation to PPP Head Office at Bilawal House Karachi.

As it was decided in PDM's meeting that in the second phase, provincial lawmakers would resign from the Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies but PPP's lawmakers from Sindh are sending their resignation to be discussed in the media.

Talking about demanding by-election from PPP, Karachiities said that if they have to resign anyhow so why is it being asked for the by-election adding that PPP CM Sindh claims that there is threat of Covid-19 but when it is a talk about their favor so no panic of Coronavirus.
