Power workers demand bonus before Eid.

FAISALABAD/LAHORE -- The All Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Workers Union (CBA) staged a demonstration on Monday demanding a bonus before Eidul Fitr.

Carrying banners, the member of union turned up on the Canal Road near Abdullahpur and raised slogans in support of their demand.

They said the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) employees had been striving hard to ensure interrupted power supply to the consumers despite the coronavirus pandemic and deserved the bonus.

The demonstrators appreciated the grant of bonus to paramedics, Rescue 1122 and Capital Development Authority Islamabad, and demanded Prime Minister Imran Khan announce a bonus for the staff of power generation companies, distribution companies and the Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda).
