Power shortfall, loadshedding hits people hard.

ISLAMABAD -- Though the recent downpour in many plain areas of the country has brought temperatures down, but the electricity shortfall still persists which is causing long durations of power outages.

According to a report, the total electricity shortfall is 6,245MW while the total generation of electricity in the country is 20,755MW and the demand is 27,000MW which is triggering power cuts as long as 14 hours a day.
