Polling stations.

THIS refers to the news 'ECP seeks Nadra's help to remove human errors in voters' list' (June 7). Recently, a friend asked me to check my polling details by sending my CNIC number to 8300 because his polling station had been changed to some location far away from his address.

Upon checking, I was shocked to notice that my polling station had also been changed from Gulistan-i-Hijri Scheme 33 to Hyderabad Colony, which is far away from my area of residence. Also, my wife's polling station is miles apart from my polling station.

I lodged a complaint with the chief election commissioner (CEC) on the relevant website link and received a computerised reply that I needed to visit the election office located at Jamshed Quarters, which is also far away, to have my polling...
