Police official martyred in Lakki attack.

LAKKI MARWAT -- A policeman was martyred when miscreants opened fire on him here on Friday night, a police official said.

He said the martyred lower head constable Sadar Nawaz belonged to Wanda Shahabkhel village of Kurrum Par area and was settled in Michenkhel locality of Lakki city.

'After performing duty at the main gate of District Headquarters Complex, Tajazai, which houses government offices and police lines, the constable returned home in the evening. He came under attack when he was standing at a grocery shop,' the official said.

He said the constable sustained bullet wounds and was taken to the Government City Hospital.
