Police hunt PML-N men in Wazirabad.

GUJRAT -- Wazirabad police on Wednesday detained a former union council chairman belonging to the PML-N and raided the house of the party's district president to arrest him 'to ensure law and order' ahead of resumption of the PTI's long march from Wazirabad on Thursday (today).

Sources say former UC chairman Imtiaz Azhar Bagari, who is considered to be close to the PML-N MNA Dr Nisar Cheema, has been detained by Wazirabad Saddar police after he ( Bagari) delivered a speech at a party workers' convention. In his speech, Mr Bagari allegedly threatened to block the PTI's long march if he was 'ordered by PML-N leadership to do so'.

Local PML-N sources say the police had also raided the house of the party's district president Mustanser Gondal to arrest him, but failed.
