Police fail to submit report in rape case.

LAHORE -- An anti-terrorism court on Monday extended the judicial remand of the two suspects in the motorway gang rape case as the police once again failed to submit the investigation report.

On Jan 4, Presiding Judge Arshad Hussain Bhutta had expressed concern over the delay in submission of the report and directed the police to file it without further delay.

However, investigating officer Zulfiqar Cheema once again sought more time from the court, saying the investigation against the suspects was still under way.
