Police constable found dead in Kohat orchard.

KOHAT -- A constable of Frontier Reserve Police (FRP), Kohat range, was found dead in a guava orchard on the City Bypass Road here on Wednesday.

The police identified the body as that of FRP constable Shoebur Rehman, a resident of Takht-i-Nasrati area of Karak district. They said the victim was killed with a sharp instrument.

They shifted the body to the hospital, and after postmortem handed it over to relatives.

The police said they had arrested several suspects for investigation after registering a case against the unknown killers, according to a statement.

SUSPECT ARRESTED: The cantonment police on Wednesday arrested a man for allegedly killing her sister-in-law with a hatchet over a petty dispute in Muhammadzai area.

Talking to mediapersons, SHO Afzal Awan said soon after receiving report about a purported suicide committed by a woman in Mohallah Suleimankhel of Muhammadzai, they reached the spot and shifted the body to the KDA hospital.

However, they said the postmortem report confirmed she had been killed with repeated strikes of a hatchet.
