Police chief orders crackdown on extortion, smuggling.

KOHAT -- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police chief Sanaullah Abbasi has asked the force to exploit all the resources to keep peace in the region and adjoining tribal districts.

He stated this while chairing a high-level meeting which was attended by DIG Kohat division Tayyeb Hafeez Cheema, district police officer Mansoor Aman, DPO Karak Nowsher Khan, DPO Hangu Shahid Khan, DPO Orakzai Nisar Ahmed Khan and DSP Kurram Zareef Khan.

The police chief was briefed about the crime control and peace in the division. He claimed that lasting peace had been established in the tribal districts where people were having free and secure environment.

He directed the officials to punitively crush extortion, terrorism, drug peddling and smuggling and criminal elements.

Mr Abbasi praised the police force for rendering sacrifices in the war against terror and defeating the terrorism due to which people were having peaceful lives.
