PML-N to raise POL issue in PA.

LAHORE -- The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) plans to use the platform of the Punjab Assembly for registering its protest against the abrupt increase in petroleum product prices.

Senior PML-N leader and MPA Samiullah Khan said a decision on the level of and strategy for the protest will be taken after a meeting of senior lawmakers chaired by Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz before Monday's (today) proceedings of the House.

He said the issue of not increasing the salaries of government employees will also be included in the protest agenda. Other opposition parties, including the Pakistan People's Party, will also be taken on board for the purpose to give a strong message to the government that the opposition will not tolerate its 'anti-worker and anti-masses' policies.
