PML-N seeks Yasmin's resignation for 'insulting' Lahorites.

LAHORE -- PML-N Punjab Secretary Information Azma Bokhari demanded resignation of the Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid for calling Lahorites 'jahil' (illiterate).

Ms Bokhari said Dr Rashid had insulted the people of Lahore; therefore, she had no right to hold her office and she must resign forthwith.

Meanwhile, the PML-N has questioned the efficacy of Prime Minister Imran Khan's Insaf Health Card programme in the face of over 100 Covid deaths a day in the country and shortage of lifesaving medicines.

'Helplessness and chaos are reigning over all hospitals but Imran Niazi's apathy, indifference and heartlessness know no bounds,' PML-N Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb said in a statement here on Thursday.
