PML-N flays govt for heavy loans, no uplift schemes.

LAHORE -- The PML-N says the ruling PTI government has taken a record $13bn loan in just two years but did not spend a single penny on any development project.

'The PTI government is so inept that it has taken $13bn loan in just two years but could not spend a single penny on development. It returned a $5bn loan. It is accountable for the spending of the remaining $8bn,' PML-N Punjab information secretary Azma Bokhari said in a statement issued here on Monday.

She said Prime Minister Imran Khan had taken such a huge loan but gave the gifts of unemployment and inflation to the masses. On the contrary, Nawaz Sharif had taken loan but his government laid a structure of development in every sector, be it motorways, electricity projects or provision of interest-free loans to the youth and farmers.
