PMA urges CM to help stop violence against doctors.

HYDERABAD -- Pakistan Medical Association has demanded Sindh chief minister and divisional and district administrations take necessary steps to prevent growing incidents of harassment and manhandling of doctors in Liaquat University Hospital (LUH).

At a hurriedly-called meeting of the office-bearers of the association here on Friday, president of its Hyderabad chapter Dr Agha Taj noted that a few days back heirs of a patient attacked doctors in intensive care unit at the LUH which was highly condemnable.

The meeting regretted that doctors and paramedics who were front-line soldiers in the ongoing fight against coronavirus and were discharging their responsibilities round the clock were being routinely attacked and intimidated.
