PMA objects to hepatitis week inauguration by minister's brother.

MUZAFFARGARH -- The Pakistan Medical Association's (PMA) local chapter on Tuesday took exception to the protocol accorded to a brother of a ruling party's federal minister at the inauguration of hepatitis week in Kot Addu Tehsil Headquarters hospital.

The THQ hospital medical superintendent requested Federal Minister for Housing Dr Shabbir Ali Qureshi to inaugurate the hepatitis week for screening of officials but the minister sent his brother Mian Ahsan Qureshi for the opening ceremony.

The guest, along with the doctors, visited the wards and enjoyed protocol. The PMA leaders objected to the protocol accorded to the minister's brother.
