PM will not resign as he has mandate of public: FM Qureshi.

ISLAMABAD -- Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said on Monday that the people of Pakistan have given mandate to Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and he will not resign.

Speaking in the National Assembly today, FM Qureshi said that PM Khan enjoys the confidence of the house. He also said that he wants to ask something from the opposition.

'If you will continue corruption, kickbacks and money laundering and we stop to take notices,' Shah Mehmood Qureshi asked, adding that Imran Khan came into power for taking notice. 'Whenever Murad Saeed stands up to make a speech, why does the opposition run away?' said Qureshi, adding that the opposition had warned that it will not let the budget get approved.

While denying the demand of the opposition, the minister said that the prime minister will not resign as he has the mandate of the public.

FM Qureshi said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will not make any compromise on its ideology. He said the PTI and its allies stand by the ideology of Imran Khan.

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan should better quarantine himself instead of taking notices.
