PM warns stern action against bureaucrats for non-compliance on CPC.

ISLAMABAD -- Prime Minister Imran Khan has warned of a stern action against bureaucrats showing their laxity in treating public complaints registered through the Pakistan Citizen Portal (PCP).

According to informed sources, the prime minister has asked the provincial governors to recommend action against those officers who were showing laxity in resolving the complaints.

The prime minister's warning came after he was informed that some federal government officers posted in the districts were still showing their laxity in helping in resolution of public complaints registered on the PCP.

On November 20 last year the prime minister had tasked the provincial governors to review the mechanism for disposal of complaints registered through the Pakistan Citizen Portal (PCP) pertaining to federal departments operating in their respective provinces.

The governors would carry out periodic performance evaluation of the PCP-dashboards of the federal government organisations and a senior level focal person would be nominated for regular liaison with the Prime Minister Delivery Unit (PMDU).
