PM to address public meeting in GB today.

GILGIT -- Prime Minister Imran Khan will announce development projects worth billions of rupees for Gilgit-Baltistan, says Federal Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. Addressing a public gathering in Chilas on Thursday, he said that prime minister was scheduled to visit Gilgit-Baltistan on November 1, the independence day of the region.

He said prime minister would address a public meeting in Gilgit during his visit to the region. He said that prime minister was taking interest of development of the region.

'The prime minister wants to develop tourism and minerals sectors in the region to benefit local people,' said the minister.

He said that foreign investors wanted to make investment in tourism sector in Gilgit-Baltistan.
