PM Imran leaves for Bahrain to attend National Day event as guest of honour.

ISLAMABAD -- Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has left for Bahrain Monday on the invitation of King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa to attend the National Day of the country as guest of honour.

According to details, the premier is accompanied by a high-level delegation including members of the cabinet and senior government officials. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Special Assistant to the PM, Zulfi Bukhari are also with him .

The PM House stated that Imran Khan will have one-on-one meeting with King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa and delegation-level talks with Crown Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.

The exchange of views would cover the entire gamut of bilateral relations and matters pertaining to regional and international issues. Bahrain's highest civil award will also be conferred upon the PM on the occasion.

It is to be mentioned here that Pakistan and Bahrain enjoy close cordial ties based on commonalities of faith and culture and marked by mutual trust and understanding.
