PM extends 'bipartisan' greetings.

ISLAMABAD -- In a show of bipartisanship, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday telephoned various political leaders and constitutional office holders - including Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) figures - to extend Eid greetings.

The PM telephoned President Arif Alvi and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan, a day holding similar telephonic conversations with leaders of the Muslim world.

The prime minister also telephoned Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Tanvir Ilyas and conveyed greetings to the people of the territory.

He also interacted with the chief ministers of Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan as well as the acting governor of Balochistan.
