PM directs to strictly implement SOPs on Eid-ul-Adha to prevent COVID-19 spread.

ISLAMABAD -- Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed to strictly implement precautionary measures and standard operating procedure on the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha to prevent spread of the Coronavirus.

Chairing a meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday to review COVID-19 situation in the country, he also directed to hold sessions of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) at provincial capitals to make the administrative measures should be made more effective through cooperation and coordination with the provincial governments.

The Prime Minister was briefed about latest situation of Coronavirus pandemic in the country, positive results of the smart lockdown strategy, and the strategy to check the spread of virus during Eid-ul-Adha and Muharram.
