PLRA recommends salary hike for striking field staff.

GUJRAT -- The Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) has approved increase in the salaries of the field staff posted at the Arazi Record Centers across the province, however, the matter will now be forwarded to the Punjab government for approval.

The approval was given in the meeting of the PLRA board of directors held at the headquarters in Lahore on Friday.

PRLA Chairman Sardar Ali Raza Dareshak presided over the meeting.

A spokesman for the PLRA told Dawn that the meeting also approved the recommendations of the executive committee regarding the formation of the service structure and regularisation of jobs of field staff.
