PLRA convenes BoD meeting on Nov 1.

GUJRAT -- The Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) has convened the eighth meeting of its board of directors (BoD) on Nov 1 amidst the ongoing weekly strike on every Monday by its field staff in favour of their demands.

However, different unions of the field staff are confused on the matter of continuing with their weekly strike on the coming Monday in the wake of the PLRA notification for the meeting as sources in the unions say the matter has been under discussion within the joint action committee of the unions.

As per the agenda items of the coming BoD meeting, first draft of the service regulations of PLRA, confirmation and ratification of the minutes of the seventh board meeting and executive committee meeting and progress review of the intelligence and vigilance wing will be discussed.
