Plea against police raiding Kunjah House dismissed.

GUJRAT -- The court of an additional district and sessions judge has rejected a plea for registration of a case against Gujrat district police's senior officials for conducting raids on the Kunjah House, the residence of former Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and MNA Moonis Elahi.

The petition was filed by Muhammad Riaz, the security in charge of Kunjah House on February 20 the last, seeking orders for registration of a case under section 22 A against District Police Officer Asad Muzaffar, then SP investigation Muzamil Hussain, 11 other officials and at least 180 personnel for what he termed 'an unauthorised and illegal' raids on the ex-chief minister's residence.
