PIA left with 30 aircraft after PK-8303 crash.

RAWALPINDI -- After the crash of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-8303 on May 22, the airlines' fleet is now left with 30 advanced aircraft to operate on international and domestic routes.

PIA's Airbus A320, registration number AP-BLD, crashed in a residential area in Karachi, killing 97 passengers on board. Two passengers survived the crash.

The accident happened just seven days after the government permitted PIA to operate limited domestic flights from six airports.
