PIA changes check-in time due to screening of passengers.

RAWALPINDI -- Keeping in view the time-consuming process of the screening of passengers for symptoms of coronavirus and the time required for security clearance at airports, the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has decided to change the check-in time of flights so that delays in their departure and inconvenience to passengers could be avoided.

PIA spokesperson Abdullah Hafeez said on Tuesday that the national flag carrier had changed the check-in time for international and domestic flights to avoid inconvenience to passengers. He said the check-in counter for domestic flights would be closed 45 minutes before the departure time. Similarly, the check-in counter for international flights will be closed one hour and fifteen minutes before the departure time.
