PHC suspends surgical services of two hospitals.

DERA GHAZI KHAN -- The Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) has suspended surgical services of two private hospitals and issued them notices for not implementing the minimum service delivery standards (MSDS), sources told Dawn.

According to the details, the PHC teams inspected four hospitals of Dera Ghazi Khan. Out of these, all kinds of the surgical service of the DG Eye and General Hospital and Jinnah Surgical Complex were suspended till the implementation of standardised measures and submission of the laboratory report to the PHC.

Moreover, these hospitals had also been directed not to carry out indoor treatment and allowed only outpatient department facility for the patients.
