People to get medical facilities through Tele Health Clinics: DC Abbottabad.

ABBOTTABAD: The district administration Saturday launched telemedicine in collaboration with the health department wherein online doctor facility to the people to help in maintaining congestion and social distance in hospitals.

Tele health clinics will provide medical facilities to the people at their doorsteps. In an effort, patients with minor ailments will be able to seek online formal and expert advice from male and female professional doctors, Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Muhammad Maghis Sanaullah said, adding that the service will enable patients at home to access telephone, online, video services and the Internet. "One can get advice from specialist doctors from 9 am to 4 pm," says Muhammad Maghis Sanaullah. With the help of mobile outreach camps for living and non-modern areas, the district administration and the health department will also personally visit the areas affected by the corona virus, he informed. He said teams of specialist doctors will visit different areas on a daily basis.

Medical camps will also be setup so that people do not have to come to the hospital, Maghis Sanaullah said that the purpose of telemedicine and mobile outreach camps is to bring health facilities to the people at home, so that people can stay in their homes and stay safe.
