Peace impossible in world without Pakistan: DG ISPR.

LONDON -- Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Major General Asif Ghafoor on Tuesday stated that without restoring peace in Pakistan there would be no peace in the world and region.

Ghafoor made these remarks in his address to participants of Yorkshire University.

'Al-Qaeda [a terrorist multi-national organization would not have been defeated without military and technical assistance from Pakistan. The world should acknowledge Pakistan's unrivalled sacrifices in WoT', Gen Ghafoor was quoted as saying.

DG ISPR added that the dream of restoring lasting peace in region and world can't be achieved without the cooperation of Islamabad. He stated, 'Washington must stay in Afghanistan till situation turns normal'.
