PDM should rethink about the call of long march: Sheikh Rashid.

RAWALPINDI -- Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is contesting the by-elections, it is taking part in the Senate elections, adding that the PDM should rethink about the call of long march. He said that the PDM is thinking to carryout long march in March or April but they should rethink on this matter. He said that the position of PDM is very week after Lahore public gathering and protest demonstration in front of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and I do not want PDM to be further exposed in front of masses.

While addressing a ceremony in Rawalpindi on Sunday, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that the PDM has retreated from three issues and now they should reconsider the long march issue as opposition will find nothing and Imran Khan will complete five years. He said that the issues of price spiral and unemployment will be resolved during the current year. He said the opposition parties will fail in their designs to destabilize the country.

He said that Pakistan will move towards development under the supervision of Prime Minister Imran Khan. He expressed hope that this year the government will overcome inflation and control unemployment due to its prudent policies.
