PBM spends over Rs one bln on providing health facilities to deserving.

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan Baitul Mal (PBM) had spent over Rs one billion in providing medical facilities to poor patients in last one year, said official sources.

According to an official, PBM had provided scholarships worth 80 million to 700 deserving students to enable them to continue their students.

As many as 38 Sweet Homes are working in country in which nearly 2600 children were being provided basic amenities including resident, meal , education, medical and other facilities.

He said Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) has approved establishing 26 new Pakistan Seeet Homes (PSH) at Mianwali, Sheikhupura, Sialkot ,Jhang, Muzaffargarh, Leyyah, Sahiwal , Dera Ghazi Khan, Hyderabad, Larkana, Ghotki, Tando Mohammad Khan,Bajour, Swabi, Haripur, Bannu, Loralai, Turbat, Jaffarabad,Lasbela,Khizar, Diamer , Ghanchay, Rawalkot and Islamabad capital territory (ICT).

As many as 2,600 children will be enrolled by Eid-ul-Fitr.
