Parties put faith in Jinnah's sayings.

LAHORE -- Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and other political parties have passed a resolution that the nation needs to promote Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's philosophy that Pakistan should become Islamic, welfare, modern and democratic state as well as free of corruption and nepotism.

The resolution was unanimously passed at a ceremony titled 'Quaid-i-Azam of all of us' to commemorate the Quaid-i-Azam's 143rd birth anniversary, by the PTI central Punjab at a local hotel on Wednesday. The participants from the PML-Q, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Jamiat Ulema-i-Pakistan, Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam and journalists cut cakes to mark Quaid-i-Azam's birthday and Christmas.
