Pakistan thump Zimbabwe to book U19 Women's T20 WC Super Six berth.

POTCHEFSTROOM -- Pakistan bowlers displayed a combined effort to halt Zimbabwe to 97/6 before openers Eyman Fatima and Shawaal Zulfiqar led the side to a perfect 10-wicket victory to book their spot in the Super Six.

After opting to bat first, Zimbabwe endured a ruthless bowling attack from Pakistan and thus, could only amass 97/6 in their allotted 20 Overs.

Amid a dismal display with the bat, Zimbabwean captain Kelis Ndhlovu put on a brave fight with a 35-ball 42 while the rest of the batters could not contribute significantly to the total.

Anosha Nasir was the pick of the bowlers for the Green Shirts as she picked up 2/21 while Areesha Noor and Laiba Nasir struck out a batter each.

Set to chase a mere 98, Pakistan openers scripted a perfect run chase as they completed the pursuit with a match-winning 100-run partnership.

Eyman remained the core aggressor of the unbeaten partnership as she struck a quickfire half-century before finishing on 62 not out in just 35 balls, hitting a dozen boundaries including two sixes.

Meanwhile, her companion Shawaal played an anchoring 32-run knock and made sure a perfect run chase for Pakistan.
