Pakistan stresses for vibrant SCO role in emerging economic scenario.

TASHKENT -- The two-day 18th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of SCO Member States concluded at Tashkent in Uzbekistan on Saturday.

Additional Secretary and National Coordinator SCO Zahoor Ahmed led Pakistan's delegation in the meeting.

Addressing the event, he informed the participants about the Pakistan's 'Ehsas Programme' and stressed that poverty alleviation should be one of the core objectives of SCO in the economic realm.

Additional Secretary also highlighted the importance of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, a flagship project under the transformative Chinese initiative of Belt and Road Initiative.
