Pakistan shares underlying vision of CPEC with diplomats.

ISLAMABAD -- The Ministry of ForAeign Affairs yesterday hosted a briefing on the China-Pakistan EcoAnomic Corridor (CPEC) for resident diplomatAic missions of several countries from East and Central Asia and the Middle East.

Chaired by the AdAditional Secretary (Asia-Pacific) MumAtaz Zahra Baloch, two rounds of briefings were convened on SepAtember 15 and 16.

The panel of briefers also included senior ofAficials of the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, and the Board of InvestAment. In her briefing, the Additional SecreAtary shared the underAlying vision of CPEC, which was based on PaAkistan's desire for conAnectivity and interest in deepening linkages with CenAtral Asia, the Middle East, and the East Asian region.
