Pakistan's javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem appointed as sports ambassador.

The Sports Board Punjab (SBP) named Pakistan's javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem as a sports ambassador in the country.

Arshad, who has recently won Gold in the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) in Nepal, has been honored for his achievements. He is the first athlete in Pakistan to directly qualify for Tokyo Olympics 2020.

The Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has announced Rs 5 lakhs as a reward for Arshad for winning the gold in the SAG.

Punjab's minister for sports Rai Taimoor has assured Arshad to give him all the facilities for Olympics preparations.
