Pakistan reports 81 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus; NCOC warns unvaccinated to face restrictions from Oct 1.

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan has reported 81 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,227,905. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 27,327 on Tuesday. So far 1,137,656 patients have recovered in the country. Positivity rate of reported coronavirus cases on Tuesday remained 4.10 percent in the country. So far 55,490,525 people have been partially vaccinated for coronavirus in country; meanwhile during the last 24 hours 456,174 people were vaccinated for coronavirus. So far 24,868,018 people have been fully vaccinated for coronavirus and 350,976 were vaccinated during the last 24 hours. So far 74,837,117 dozes of vaccine have been administered in whole country; meanwhile during the last 24 hours 807,310 dozes of vaccine were administered in the country.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 1,897 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2 percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus has reached 92.7 percent. During the last 24 hours 2,618 coronavirus patients were recovered in the country. There are 4,846 critical coronavirus patients present in the country. There are 62,922 active coronavirus cases presenting the country.

According to NCOC, Punjab province has become at first position in number of total deaths from coronavirus pandemic; meanwhile Sindh province is on the second position. Meanwhile Sindh province has come on first position in terms of total reported cases of coronavirus, active coronavirus cases and recovered coronavirus cases in the country.
