Pakistan reports 64 deaths in last 24 hours by novel coronavirus.

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan has reported 64 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 539,387. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 11,514 on Thursday. So far 494,578 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 1,910 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.1 percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus has reached 91.7 percent. During the last 24 hours 2,371 coronavirus patients were recovered in the country. There are 2,147 critical coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 33,295 active coronavirus cases presenting the country.

According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active coroanvirus cases. There are 2,866 active coronavirus patients are present in KP. There are 17,689 active coronavirus patients present in Sindh, 10,599 in Punjab, 1,525 in Islamabad...
