Pakistan-Qatar ties being transformed into an enduring partnership: COAS.

ISLAMABAD -- Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said on Thursday that Pakistan and Qatar's ties, which are based on the 'deep spirit of brotherhood,' are being transformed into an enduring partnership.

A statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa met Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid Bin Mohammed Al Attiyah during his official tour today.

It said that matters of mutual interest, defence and security cooperation, and regional environment were discussed during the meeting.
