Pakistan lose to England in second match of U19 Women's World Cup.

POTCHEFSTROOM -- England beat Pakistan by 53 runs in their second ICC U19 Women's World Cup group match at the North West Cricket Stadium, Potchefstroom in South Africa on Tuesday.

England posted a decent 157 runs on the scoreboard before restricting Pakistan to a paltry 103 runs in 20 overs.

Skipper Syeda Aroob Shah scored an unbeaten 34 runs off 36 balls for Pakistan, including four boundaries.

However, no other batter could play a significant innings as the England bowlers didn't let the Pakistan batters settle at the crease.

Opener Shawaal Zulfiqa gathered 23 runs in 30 balls.

For England, Sophia Smale secured two wickets, while Hannah Baker and Grace Scrivens took a wicket each.

Earlier, England posted a target of 157 runs on the scoreboard in 20 overs.
