Pakistan keeps potentials to earn a lot from tourism sector: Atif Khan.

ISLAMABAD -- Provincial Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) for Tourism Muhammad Atif Khan Sunday said Tourism industry in Pakistan would attract the huge global tourists by offering its beautiful places to them as an extended destination of their visits.

Stressing the need to promote tourism sector under the vision of Imran Khan's government minister Atif khan while talking to private news channel urged to encourage the private sector to invest in tourism and develop infrastructure and projects, either individually or in joint venture.

The KP Minister said developing tourism, particularly in country's remote areas is one of his top priorities.

He highlighted that at every water reservoir and head-work, tourism sites could be developed and promoted as it would help reduce rush at the existing tourist spots.

He also highlighted the importance of utilizing historical buildings for tourism purposes.

He added that the provincial government would develop new tourist spots as per its recently announced comprehensive tourism policy.

Atif Khan said the provisional government has plan to promote tourism in the province which would not only improve the economy of the province but would also provide better employment opportunities to locals as well.

He said PTI-led government is taking corrective measures to promote and improve tourism sector.
