Pakistan, Iraq reiterate to further boost bilateral cooperation.

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan and Iraq on Friday reiterated to further boost bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interests, said a press statement issued by President's media office.

This was discussed at a meeting between the President Dr. Arif Alvi and the visiting Iraqi Defence Delegation, led by Minister of Defence of Iraq, Juma Enad Saadoon here at Aiwan-e-Sadr.

While talking to the delegation, the President said that Pakistan attached great importance to the mutually beneficial relations with Iraq and wants to further strengthen bilateral relations in the areas of trade, economy and defence.

He said Pakistan strongly supported sovereignty, political unity and territorial integrity of Iraq.

The President offered training courses for the Iraqi Military personnel in the Defence Training Institutes of Pakistan.
