Pakistan hoping to get extension in GSP Plus status from EU.
ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan is hoping to get extension in GSP Plus status from European Union (EU) in next year (2022) as currently it is in the process of next review. 'Pakistan is well placed in compliance of its obligations under the scheme. Pakistan is in the process of the next review and hopefully will get the extension,' said ministry of commerce in a statement. Pakistan has been availing EU's 'Special Incentive Arrangement for Good Governance and Sustainable Development' (GSP Plus Scheme) since 2014.
