Pakistan, Cuba inks agreement for removing condition of visa for diplomatic passports.

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan and Cuba inked an agreement to remove condition of visa for government and diplomatic passports.

The agreement was reached at a meeting between Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Cuban Vice President Roberto Morales Ojeda in Islamabad on Wednesday. This agreeent would be applicable on government officials and diplomats.

Beside this, the two sides also agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in pharmaceutical, herbal medicine and biotechnology.

The two sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, including bilateral relations and the situation in occupied Kashmir.

The Foreign Minister said India's unilateral and illegal step about occupied Kashmir on August 5 has jeopardized regional peace. He said the held territory has been under curfew for the last 87 days and gross human rights violations continue there.
